From this..

To that.
The magic is in the mayhem. All that discipline, applied in different ways. Keep your eyes out for this vixen’s application. Recently it was “International Women’s Day.” I find myself wondering whether or not I was aware of this, and if I should therefore be disappointed in not remembering or if it was some newly fabricated “pseudo-holiday” (as one of my colleagues from the Women’s Studies program at U of T had called it). Either way, I love all the strong, selfless and persevering women around me. I guess you could say that this drawing is a compilation of all the beautiful fractal pieces of all the women around me that I have been fortunate enough to share and experience.
GOIN TRIBAL.

Check out this tribal forearm piece I’m doing for recent birthday boy, Tristan. It also doubles as a tribute piece to his favorite person, his Mom, as the tattoo camouflages her initials.

Later today, I get to do a WU TANG tattoo on one of my loyal clients, Roberto. Stay tuned for that, as it’s sure to be WUnderful! Here’s one of my favorite (among many) classic Wu Tracks to seal the deal.
THE PAINTED LADY.

Just found some pics floating around in the archive. These are from the opening weekend of The Painted Lady over on the Ossington Ave. strip in the west end of T-Dot that took place in the summer of ’09. Despite the rain, people of all different types were in great spirits, and I was there to do some live body painting. If you’re ever in the Toronto downtown area looking for a good time, or some good eats, hit them up.
Here’s a view of the front. On this night, they were pullin out all the stops, there were performers of all sorts, amazing DJ’s, and a bellydancer and saxamaphone player out front to draw in people from the streets.
