Talkin bout foodspots, today, people! 671 Queen St. West (@Bathurst), Murrays Sandwich Emporium has got what I need when I’m fiending for a filling and scrumptious Sammy-type meal. First visit was accompanied by J Pippin and besides the delicatessen items on the menu, the ambiance is right on point. T, The Sammy Pusherman with the vision, was behind the counter and greeted us with a big smile, open arms and a big, “WHAS UPPPP!!?” Pippin and I decided to trade off on half of The Dogfather for half of the Uncle Phil. What can I say, I’m instantly hooked like a bucket and have already called to see if they’re open today (it’s Easter Sunday) cause i’m fiending for it. They’re not pickin’ up. Mega monumental disappointment. Gotta deal with this craving asap for sure.. I’m pretty sure their website says it’s open at 11.30am. I’ll be waiting in the door alcove to put in my order.
